The Red Brand Show & Sale is sanctioned by the Southwestern Ontario Livestock Producers Association October 15, 2019 was the 69th year for this show and sale the last 40 shows taking place in Glencoe.
The show and sale started in  Dresden in 1950 This show and sale is to provide a place for young beef producers, 4-H members and their younger siblings how to raise, feed and exhibit a quality beef animal and to reward these young beef producers with an option to promote and sell their summers work On October 15, 2019.
The Red Brand committee weighed and identified beef cattle for 30 young beef producers in the morning and then these animals and competitors were grouped by weight and sex of the animals to be evaluated by a judge in the afternoon to come up with a sale order for the sale in the evening. Then the competitors were grouped into age categories to be evaluated on how the competitors presented and handled their animals.
A roast beef supper and award presentation was enjoyed by 250, consisting of competitors and their families, sponsors, buyers and the volunteer committee.  A successful sale fallowed the award presentations, with 30 head selling to the highest bidders
