Amalgamation Approved

In the summer of 2020, you were sent information regarding a proposed amalgamation of Hay Mutual Insurance Company in Zurich with Town & Country Mutual Insurance in Strathroy. We were delighted when both memberships voted in favour of the amalgamation at the Special General Meeting held on August 20, 2020. By receiving the required membership approval, the new company H T & C Mutual Insurance, will be in effect as of January 1st 2021.

The new company will continue to operate out of both of the current office locations. This will provide our Members with the same local and personalized service that they have come to expect from the legacy companies.

At H T & C Mutual we value the Mutual system and the legacies of our heritage companies. As well respected businesses within the Mutual Insurance industry, we strive to hold H T & C Mutual to the same standards. We will continue to serve our Members and local communities with quality insurance solutions and services.
